Tips for Practical Ergonomics at your Workplace

This blog is about ergonomic infographic which is our first lesson for the Term 1 in Digital Technology (DTE). I used Piktochart for my ergonomic infographic. I tried Canva and Vengage but I found Piktochart more manageable to use. I chose Piktochart because it has more graphics that are useful to my infographic like the icons that you can see in my infographic. Sometimes Piktochart does lag when I use it. It just suddenly stops and then I can't edit my work anymore but fortunately, it saves my work which makes me be satisfied besides the fact that it lags.

In my infographic shows what are practical ergonomics when you are at work. There you can see tips which are essential things you can do when you are using your computer , sitting, movement and there are also more tips when you're at your workplace.

Reflection:
It was fun editing my ergonomic infographic and I am really satisfied with the outcome of my piece. I've learned that making an ergonomic infographic should be consistent. Consistent with fonts, icons, structure of how you do the paragraphs and etc. At first, my infographic was not really had consistency but thanks to Mr. Carter he taught me how to make it more look like an infographic. If next time we'll do this kind of work, I'll make sure that I'll manage my time to do it faster than I did last time.

  1. Hey Roanna,
I was blown away by this post. Your infographic is clear, well informed and laid out in a way that makes sense to the reader. I also really like the way that you have explained what this post is about and have a clear reflection about the tool that you were learning to use. I definitely learnt something from reading your poster. I myself need to work on my ergonomics when I am using my laptop. This is a great post! I can not wait to read more of your work in the future. I have no advice, but I wonder if you think you would be able to create some of these images yourself using another tool such as google drawings?

An outstanding blog post, useful information and great reflection on what went well and how you might do things differently next time. My only suggestion is - now try some of the things you've reflected on.
    Great work.
