Woman Soldier’s POV

We found out that there are still people that are left in the town. We just caught them peeping to the Showground. Boss will going to be happy if we’ll catch them. I’m not into this war, I never wanted to fight. But life just sucks and they just taken away from me my family. We don’t deserve this kind of life. I want to fight not for the desires of this intruders but to escape from this nightmares. I want to live with the life I wanted, simple life.

We saw them running to a house. They are just teenagers. How come the other sentries didn’t see them when they are evacuating all the people from the celebration?. Nevermind, we need to get them before they can escape from us. There’s no more place of choice to hide to but the backyard of the house. Slowly, we walked and searched through the place. I’m scared, I’m really scared. I didn’t want to kill these teenagers but I just have to. They are just like me. Innocence was like a free taste to us. A beforehand experience until we face the reality of things.
Once again, I think twice. Should I just flee or be one of the antagonist of the story? Every step that I take seems like a time bomb. I don’t have more time left. It’s either I take this chance or embrace the fact that I’m just a mere soldier. But before I decided an explosion occurred in front of me. Thinking made me eat most of my time and it ingurgitates me. I can see my family now. I did want to change but I don’t have time now. I’m sorry. I’m sorry for you people that we invaded. We just want justice.
